Hilary Swank (48) recently announced on US television that she will be a mother for the first time at the age of 48. The Oscar winner and her husband, entrepreneur Philip Schneider, are expecting twins. On Instagram, the actress presented her baby ball for the first time in a clip from several photos.

Swank wears a sleeveless chiffon dress with floral prints and proudly places her hands on her already slightly bulging stomach. The mother-to-be just beams into the camera. "Coming soon... in the double edition," she writes about her contribution.

There are already a number of congratulations from fellow actresses in the comments. "Yeah, babies!" Chelsea Handler (47) enthuses. "What what what !!! Yeah, congratulations my love," writes Kate Hudson (43). Debra Messing (54) is also beside herself: "Waaaaas ?!?! Hilary !!!!! I'm so happy for you two !!!!!"

Swank is best known for films like 'Million Dollar Baby' and 'Boys Don't Cry', for which she won an Oscar. After around two years together, the actress and her current husband Schneider said yes in 2018. The twins are the couple's first children.
