Actor and presenter Wayne Carpendale (45) has landed a new TV job – or he is currently on the Mediterranean Sea for it. The dome show "Heart on board - freshly in love on the high seas" is currently being created there on board AIDAcosma, which is being produced for the VOX broadcaster.

According to the broadcaster, Carpendale will play the dual roles of presenter and cupid in the four planned episodes. "We send our singles in the most relaxed holiday mood in the most beautiful cities in Europe on fantastic and spectacular dates. I'm a mix of ship steward, bosom friend, travel guide and lively Tinder app," jokes Annemarie Carpendale's (44) husband about his wide range of tasks on the high seas.

The focus of the format is therefore "love-seeking women". They can choose between two men per episode and decide which of the two can start the next stage - and which one has to symbolically careen. Anyone who was previously allowed to stay on board will be faced with a new competitor for the favor of the lady of the heart each time. For the viewers, the question arises as to which couples will ultimately enter the port of love together.

The broadcaster has not yet announced an exact broadcast date for "Heart on Board - Freshly in Love on the High Seas". However, a little patience is definitely still required: the show is not scheduled to be broadcast on television until next year.
