There could soon be a new edition of the skiing accident process with Gwyneth Paltrow (50). As the "TMZ" portal reports, the doctor Dr. Terry Sanderson, who claims he was injured by the actress, is considering an appeal. His lawyer has already made a statement about yesterday's verdict: "We do not agree with the result and will consider all possibilities." A new procedure or an appeal is also currently being considered: "All of these things are on the table."

According to the lawyer, a number of mistakes had been made in the previous proceedings. For example, the judge allowed Paltrow's attorneys to snoop into Sanderson's past. However, this has nothing to do with the collision on the runway, and in return, as Sanderson's lawyer, he was not allowed to investigate Paltrow's past.

Gwyneth Paltrow won the trial on Friday. After eight days of testimony, a Utah grand jury ruled that the actress and businesswoman was not at fault in retired optometrist Sanderson's lawsuit.

The 76-year-old had claimed Paltrow ran him over at Deer Valley Resort in 2016, causing him ongoing health problems. He initially sought $3.3 million in damages in 2019, but that lawsuit was dismissed. A second process was now about the sum of 300,000 US dollars (about 280,000 euros).

Paltrow filed a countersuit, demanding a token dollar. The actress' attorney told the court that Sanderson drove into his client in the accident, not the other way around.

In a statement she shared on an Instagram story after the trial, Paltrow said she was "satisfied with the outcome and appreciates the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury," thanking them for their care in handling this case. According to BBC News, Sanderson said the verdict was "very disappointing".
