US singer David Hasselhoff (70, "Looking For Freedom") canceled his planned spring tour of ten cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland due to illness. "Unfortunately, I have a serious eye infection," said Hasselhoff in a statement on Wednesday. "It is with a heavy heart that I have to cancel the tour."

The "Party your Hasselhoff" tour was to take place from March 15th to April 1st in Regensburg, Berlin, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Munich, in Austria in Schladming, Vienna and Graz and in Switzerland in Zurich.
