Entertainer Friedrich Liechtenstein (66) keeps coming across a hate object in Berlin: "What really annoys me - I recently had a funny encounter with a taxi driver - are the construction fences," said the musician and artist of the German Press Agency. They are everywhere, are never cleared away and nothing happens behind them. "I do not get it."

He once asked a taxi driver: "Tell me, do you know a city where so many construction fences are standing around?" He really laughed and said: "These shitty construction fences!", said Liechtenstein, who recently released the album " Good Gastein". According to his feeling, there is "no other city in the world with so many construction fences behind which nothing happens".

"They just stand there so boldly. Often sloppily crooked and shaky. And you know: Okay, I'll see these construction fences for the next few months, maybe even years," said Liechtenstein. Has he ever kicked one? "No. But carefully taken aside, walked through - when you know that nothing will happen - and put it down again. Like a gentleman."
