Austin Butler fell so much into the role of the King of Rock 'n' Roll while filming Baz Luhrmann's Elvis that he still speaks like Presley to this day. In an interview with talk host Jimmy Fallon, Butler also spoke with Elvis' deep tongue - of his awe at the Golden Globes and of his relationship with Elvis' descendants.

On January 12, the music legend's only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away at the age of 54. Butler also maintained contact with her. Actor Jimmy Fallon said he first met her when they watched the film together at Elvis' Graceland mansion. "I've never had an experience where I met someone and immediately felt a deep connection with them," he said. "She was a person who didn't really have anything to prove and didn't want to open up to everyone and she just opened up to me and we became so close so quickly," he revealed. "It's just upsetting," Butler said.

In his acceptance speech, the actor mentioned both Lisa Marie and her mother and Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla Presley. Lisa Marie Presley died two days after the ceremony, which she attended. Butler was also present at her funeral service at Graceland, accompanied by his girlfriend, supermodel Kaia Gerber.

"It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away," Priscilla Presley said in a statement to People magazine.

On Lisa Marie's 55th birthday on February 1, Priscilla Presley once again posted loving words about her daughter. "My desire is to protect my three grandchildren and to keep our family together. From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I have protected, loved and guided her just as I did my son. Our hearts are broken and I have to learn to live without my only daughter. We love you all very much and we feel your prayers. Thank you so much for caring about our family," she wrote on Instagram.
