After already being one of the biggest pop stars of our time, Harry Styles (28) is now really taking off as an actor. Even if he says he sometimes doesn't know what he's doing. But the singer sees that as a positive factor in acting.
"I've been making music for a little longer, so I'm feeling a little more comfortable. What I like about acting is that I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing," he said at a press conference, according to Variety .
"Making music is a very personal thing," he said. "There are aspects of acting where you draw a little from experience, but mostly you're pretending to be playing someone else," he said. "I find that the most interesting thing about it." For the Brit, however, the two aspects of presentation complement each other.
"Don't Worry Darling" is scheduled to hit theaters on September 22nd. In the run-up there were already some headlines about the film. There is said to have been a dispute between the leading actress Florence Pugh (26) and director Olivia Wilde (38), who met Styles during the shoot. Among other things, Pugh is said to have been annoyed.
She has also indicated in interviews that she is upset that the Harry Styles name is overshadowing the film. The pop star had replaced Shia LaBeouf (36). Opinions differ on whether he was fired or left voluntarily.
