Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry: They have published their Christmas card

Duchess Meghan (41) and Prince Harry (38) spread the Christmas spirit. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released their 2022 Christmas card, which features a black and white photo of the couple at the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Awards Gala in New York City.

"We wish you a Merry Christmas," says the card. "From our family to yours, and on behalf of our teams at Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, we wish you health, peace and a very happy new year."

The letter, written in white on a burgundy background, is signed with "Best wishes" and the signatures of the two. Below it is: "Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex", as the "People" magazine shows.

Last year, Meghan and Harry used their Christmas card to share the first public photo of their daughter Lilibet Diana, who was born in June 2021. It was captured by her wedding photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, at the couple's home in Santa Barbara, California. The snap shows Harry holding son Archie Harrison, 3, while Meghan lifted Lili in the air.

The message on the card read: "This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter Lilibet into the world. Archie made us a 'Mom' and a 'Dad' and Lili made us family. With a view Towards 2022, we have made donations on her behalf to a variety of organizations that honor and protect families - from those being relocated from Afghanistan to American families in need of paid parental leave."

Posting a Christmas card has become a tradition for the family. In 2020, the card featured an illustration of a photo taken by Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, 66, of Archie, his parents and their two dogs, Pula and Guy. The year before, Meghan and Harry shared their first Christmas card as a family of three. At that time they spent the Christmas season on the Canadian island of Vancouver Island.

In 2018, the then newlyweds released their first Christmas card as a couple, featuring a snap from their royal wedding reception at Frogmore House.

This year's card comes a day after the release of the second part of the Netflix docu-series Harry
