This news moved many fans: DSDS star Juliette Schoppmann and comedy star Tahnee Schaffarczyk made their love public on Wednesday. The couple shared photos of themselves jumping through the sea in their wedding dresses on Instagram. They provided the post with heart and ring emojis.

Now the apparently newly married couple has thanked them for the many congratulations. "We are absolutely overwhelmed by so many lovely messages and congratulations! Thank you for this wave of loving words. Let's go for a spin," writes Tahnee. In addition, the two published a sweet photo in which they drink champagne in a good mood.

Numerous other celebrities such as Let's Dance juror Motsi Mabuse, RTL presenter Frauke Ludowig or singer Jasmin Wagner congratulate under the post. Alexander Klaws, to whom Schoppmann lost 20 years ago in the DSDS final, also sends Instagram congratulations. "You two beauties, big hugs to you," writes Klaws.

According to "Bild", the wedding is said to have taken place in Mexico a few weeks ago. Only the families and closest friends were there. Tahnee and Schoppmann are said to have been a couple for more than a year, but that was not public knowledge.

30-year-old Tahnee has become known as a stand-up comedian and presenter. She has completed successful solo programs and has appeared on the Amazon show "LOL: Last One Laughing" and the ARD format "Tahnee.7". Schoppmann, now 42 years old, took second place in the first season of the talent show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" in 2003. She later appeared on the show as a vocal coach. The couple lives in Cologne.
