"Deutschland sucht den Superstar": Former winning songs at the start of the live shows

On April 1, "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" will start the live show phase on RTL and RTL for the 20th time. For this occasion, the creators have considered a special selection of songs. According to RTL, the ten remaining candidates of the current anniversary season sing ten winning songs from the last twenty years - traditionally penned by jury returnee Dieter Bohlen (69).

Kiyan Sepehr Yousefbeik (25) will receive a special honor on Saturday. He performs "Take Me Tonight" by Alexander Klaws (39) - the very first winning song in the history of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".

All in all, the makers have mainly chosen the songs of the better-known "DSDS" graduates. Natalie Nock (29) sings "Mein Herz" by Beatrice Egli (34), Peris Achilleas Grigoriadis (25) "Call My Name" by Pietro Lombardi (30) and Lorent Berisha (19) "Now or Never" by Mark Medlock ( 44).

All ten candidates sing a song together at the start of the theme show. This is, of course, "We have a Dream". The song, also composed by Dieter Bohlen, was sung in the first season by the finalists around Alexander Klaws.
