Some trends come all of a sudden, are smiled at a little at first and then establish themselves. Something similar could happen with the bubble candles: the mostly square-shaped candles, which consist of several small wax bubbles, i.e. "bubbles", are certainly not a groundbreaking innovation. But: they are small eye-catchers that could blossom into permanent it-pieces because they can be combined in many ways. They do well as a subtle eye-catcher. And: You can do them yourself with your children and thus ensure a nice activity together.

Just like you do with other candles, bubble candles are best not on their own, but in a small arrangement: optionally on a tray with other candles and a vase, for example. A combination of different sized bubble candles can also look great on the table, dresser or windowsill. Or you can decorate them in a very modern way on or with coffee table books, a vase and small decorative figures. The noble-looking candles give the decoration an elegant touch. Especially if they are in nude tones. The look becomes younger and more playful when they are brightly colored.

Bubble candles are not only available in square shapes with bubbles of the same size. In the meantime, the candle comes in different variants: shaped as a pyramid, as a large tower or as a small candle with only four small bubbles. The candles then have different colors or have a pleasant scent.

Like other variants, bubble candles can of course also be made by yourself. There are also practical sets that give instructions on how to make the decorative candles yourself with your children. All you have to do is melt the wax, put a wick in the mold, add the wax and wait. You can color the wax or use already colored wax. And: the molds can also be used to make chocolate or soap in the trendy bubble shape. This is a nice job, especially in winter, and produces creative results - which then also make great individual Christmas gifts. But you should check beforehand that the molds are also suitable for the preparation of food. Some forms may not be suitable and may be harmful if you cook food in them.
