With King Charles III. At the head, a funeral procession is leading Queen Elizabeth II's coffin into the British Parliament this Wednesday in London. In addition to the monarch, his sons Prince William and Prince Harry will also walk behind the coffin. Other royals following on foot include Charles' siblings Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, as well as Anne's son Peter Philips, her husband Admiral Tim Laurence the Duke of Gloucester, a cousin of the Queen, and the Earl of Snowdon, her nephew. Upon arrival at Parliament, the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Dean of Westminster Abbey hold a short service. The closed coffin of the Queen is then laid out. From Wednesday afternoon until early Monday morning, the day of the state funeral, the public will have the opportunity to walk past the coffin and say goodbye to the Queen. Hundreds of thousands are expected, some estimates speak of up to two million mourners. Waiting times of more than a day are expected.
