Reality TV star Daniela Katzenberger (36) flees from her adopted home of Mallorca over the holidays. "Christmas in Mallorca is a horror for me because I can't do anything with decorated palm trees," explains Katzenberger in an interview with the "Bild" newspaper. "And instead of snow, we have 20 degrees plus, that's more like summer in Germany."

And for the Rhineland-Palatinate native, Christmas and Mallorca don't go together in culinary terms either. "The mulled wine on Malle tastes like warmed-up sangria," she says. "It wouldn't be Christmas for me if I didn't gain at least five kilos on the holidays. And that's difficult in Mallorca, because you won't find Christmas markets with bratwurst and bakers with Christmas cookies here," explains the reality TV star.

After their joint appearance on the Florian Silbereisen show "Everyone sings Christmas - The Great Advent Festival 2022", the 36-year-old, her husband Lucas Cordalis (55) and their daughter Sophia (7) are going to the Black Forest. There they have a good time in a wellness hotel together with Katzenberger's Mama Iris (55) and her husband Peter Klein.

Daniela Katzenberger has lived on the Balearic Island with her husband Lucas Cordalis and their seven-year-old daughter Sophia since 2016. The Kleins have also settled there.
