Accordingly, in addition to Larson, the Moroccan director Maryam Touzani (43), the French actor Denis Ménochet (46), the British-Zambian screenwriter and director Rungano Nyoni (41), the American actor and director Paul Dano (38), the Afghan Writer and filmmaker Atiq Rahimi (61), Argentinian director and screenwriter Damián Szifrón (47) and French director Julia Ducournau (39) make up the jury. According to "Deadline", the task on the jury is the first official trip to Cannes for the Oscar-winning actress and filmmaker Brie Larson.

Previously, the Swedish director Ruben Östlund (49) was confirmed as the jury president at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The jury has the task of awarding the Palme d'Or to one of the 21 films in the competition. Winners will be announced on May 27th during the Closing Ceremony. The festival is scheduled to take place on the Côte d'Azur from May 16th to 27th, 2023.
