Britney Spears: Fans have crossed a line

They must have imagined it differently. After Britney Spears' (41) Instagram account was once again unavailable, individual fans called the local police - worried about the singer. As the authorities confirmed to the celebrity portal "TMZ", police officers drove to the musician's property and made sure that Spears was doing well. Now, however, the gossip site reports that the singer should not have been particularly happy about the care of her fans. Insiders report that Spears was "annoyed" by the action.

True, she would understand that her fans are concerned about her well-being. Spears can also understand that the police were involved. Nevertheless, the whole thing was uncomfortable for her, it is said.

Officials from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office reportedly drove to Britney Spears' home in Thousand Oaks, California, at 11 p.m. local time Tuesday night (January 24). The Sheriff's Department is said to have previously received numerous calls from fans.

It's not uncommon for Spears' Instagram account to be unavailable. Every now and then she deactivates it herself, as she has already announced in the past.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker is known for having a particularly devoted fan base. Again and again, movements of their followers go viral online, in which they express their support for the singer. Most recently, some fans feared that Spears would not lead a self-determined life despite the end of their guardianship.
