This piece is really something special: Heike and Jochen Bürgener want to sell a more than 100-year-old Christmas tree stand that also makes music at "Bares für Rares". They once saw him at an antique dealer and fell in love immediately. But now they want to leave him in good hands.

The couple from Dissen would like 1000 euros. A pretty sum that expert Sven Deutschmanek doesn't want to go along with. Due to the poor condition, he considers only 600 to 800 euros to be realistic.

However, he did the calculation without the dealer room. The object aroused great interest there. Walter Lehnertz curiously pulls up the music box, which prompts Julian Schmitz-Avila to sing along. That doesn't go down too well, however: "Okay, come on, calm down very quickly," says "Waldi" to his colleague, "quiet".

Because all five present are bidding, the price quickly climbs. Even when the appraised value has been reached, the traders do not stop and continue to place bids. So it even becomes four digits: The highest bid comes from Lehnertz with 1050 euros.

Actually, the sellers could be very satisfied. But instead of hitting it, Jochen Bürgener starts to gamble and cheekily demands 1100 euros. But Waldi doesn't go into that. He also declines when Bürgener goes down to 1080 euros. Instead, the dealer pulls out his wallet and calmly counts the 1050 euros.

Waldi doesn't accept Schmitz-Avila's objection that the deal hasn't even come about yet: "I'll show him," he says, waving the many bills.

That leaves an impression. The Bürgeners don't want to miss out on all that money. They strike - and in the end pre-Christmas peace returns.
