Axel Milberg ends in Kiel: Borowski says goodbye to the "crime scene"

Inspector Klaus Borowski determined in 2025 for the last time in the "crime scene" in Kiel. This was announced by the NDR. In the autumn of this year, the actor Axel Milberg (66) will celebrate his 20th anniversary in this role with the case "Borowski and the innocent child of Wacken".

"There was never any routine in 'Tatort', nothing repeated," Milberg said. He was lucky enough to get to know a new perspective on themes, motifs, milieus and narrative styles while directing and writing the screenplays. At the same time, he thanked his colleagues. Overall, the 38 previous episodes would certainly have made 1000 people possible.

"I especially thank the loyal audience," said the actor. After this long time, the market would change "and I with it," the 66-year-old justified his decision not to have his contract extended again. "Now I'm looking ahead," he said.

An era is coming to an end for NDR director Joachim Knuth (63). Milberg is an exceptional actor. He will miss his transformation skills and joy of playing in the "crime scene". "I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his great work and I am pleased that he will remain with NDR in new projects," he said.

From 2016, Borowski's colleague Mila Sahin (Almila Bagriacik, 32) is said to be the focus of the investigations in Kiel. NDR will announce later who will be part of her team.
