Quiz fans can prepare for the return of the popular game show “Gefragt – GeJagt”. The new episodes will start on May 13th, as was announced today in a press release. As usual, presenter Alexander Bommes (48) will lead through the program.

On Monday, May 13th, the new “Gefragt – Gejagt” season continues on Das Erste at 6 p.m. With his show, Alexander Bommes once again solves the question “Who knows something like that?” from - a regular change in the ARD evening program. Quiz fans can look forward to 95 new episodes every weekday on Erste and in the ARD media library.

As usual, four candidates will compete against the hunters in the new “Asked - Hunted” episodes. In the twelfth year of the successful show, “The Generalist” Adriane Rickel (50), “The Quick-witted” Annegret Schenkel (45), “The Quiz Volcano” Dr. Manuel Hobiger (42), "The Know-It-All" Sebastian Klussmann (34), "The Quiz God" Sebastian Jacoby (45) and "The Librarian" Klaus Otto Nagorsnik (68) make up the pool of professional quiz players.

The radio special will also return from June 3rd to June 7th. Then radio presenters from the ARD radio waves and their listeners take on the quiz elite.

In 2012, "Gefragt - Gejagt" started with six episodes on NDR, before the quiz show moved to Erste in 2015 to its traditional broadcast slot on weekdays at 6 p.m. Alexander Bommes was there as a moderator from the start.

"Asked - Hunted" is based on "The Chase". The British ITV show, which pits a team of contestants against the "Hunter", a professional quiz player, was developed in 2009. The quiz is also running in the USA, Australia and many other countries.
