Anna Fischer as "The Undertaker": Original local thriller "von Schiller" written

"Two and a Half Dead" (March 30, 8:125 p.m., the first) is the third film in the must-see local crime series "Die Bestatterin" (since 2019) with Berlin actress Anna Fischer (36, Harz crime series "Harter Brocken") the title role on the program.

On the way to a bachelor party, two young men from Hepperlingen die in their car and fall into a river. Their bodies are recovered and undertaker Lisa Taubenbaum (Fischer) is entrusted to them. The two had celebrated together with Mario, the owner of the car. But where is Mario? There is no trace of him. Mario's wife doesn't know whether to hope or fear. Lisa, who was in a relationship with Mario at school, is convinced that he is still alive. She draws the attention of investigating commissioner Thomas Zellinger (Christoph Letkowski, 40), with whom she also has a non-binding relationship, to inconsistencies. The two get into an argument about this...

According to the broadcaster, the fourth film is already in the works. In an interview with spot on news, she reveals how the leading actress explains the success of crime novels with a lot of local color.

Anna Fischer: It is participant observation. It remains exciting until the last minute. The guesswork about the perpetrator is entertaining. Also, recognizing places and squares is an additional point to get excited about.

Fischer: In my opinion, when Friedrich Schiller's [1759-1805] "The criminal from lost honor" [criminal report based on a true story about a poacher who became a murderer, ed.] was published in 1786. He probably got this ball rolling and the enthusiasm has not abated since then. The Eberhofer thrillers were only published later (laughs). But I think that's for sure, for some they're just the icing on the cake.

Fischer: The Swabian Alb is a fascinating region with castles and palaces from the Middle Ages, which invites you to dream with a pear schnapps. I liked it, especially the friendly residents. With tight production, there is less time for excursions and explorations, but the "Teck" castle was sensational at any time of day and weather. The "Urach" waterfall with its branched hiking trails is also highly recommended and then my highlight.

Fischer: In a fantasy, maybe. I'm from Berlin.

Fischer: I understand everything, I have a good feel for language.

Fischer: Magdeburg could do well with a crime series. I think the whole of Saxony-Anhalt is underrepresented. But ultimately the location doesn't matter, exciting script material is important.

Fischer: I represent the Harz region. The "hard chunk" goes into the next round. And I will sync again. Additionally I'm surfing in Bali. But I always tweak and tinker with songs until it fits at some point. I love music and will probably release something soon.
