Hand in hand, Amal, 44, and George Clooney, 61, attended the premiere of the Albie Award ceremony for their Clooney Foundation For Justice on Thursday at the New York Public Library. The human rights lawyer and wife of the Hollywood star - in a black tuxedo - stole the show in her glittering gold and silver floor-length dress with tiered fringes and leg slits, as well as a gold handbag and silver strappy stilettos.
George and Amal Clooney honored those who have taken great personal risks and dedicated their lives to justice with the inaugural Albie Awards. The couple hosted the event and celebs like Meryl Streep, Dua Lipa, Oscar Isaac and Julia Roberts presented the awards. Honorees include journalists, human rights organizations and other advocates of justice around the world
The prize is named after Albie Sachs (87), a South African lawyer and former judge who was imprisoned for his fight against apartheid.
