British Prince Harry (37) and his wife Meghan (41) arrived in Düsseldorf on Tuesday afternoon and were greeted by cheering fans at City Hall.

The prominent guests walked the red carpet to the historic blue town hall door - they were supposed to attend a reception in the town hall and sign the town's golden book. Harry also wanted to give a speech.

The Duchess and Duke are in Germany to promote the Invictus Games in a year's time - the Paralympic competitions for war veterans are close to the heart of the Prince.
