The US actress Katie Holmes (43) returns to the theater stage in New York. Holmes will take on a role in the play "The Wanderers," the organizers said. The play is about two couples who face different challenges. The premiere is planned for early 2023.

Holmes, who was married to Tom Cruise between 2006 and 2012 and has a daughter with the actor, made her Broadway debut in 2008 in Arthur Miller's play All My Sons. Four years later she returned to the theater stage in New York for the play "Dead Accounts".

Holmes became famous with a role in the television series "Dawson's Creek", and she has also acted in numerous films.
