US actress Jamie Lee Curtis (63) wants a sequel to the cult comedy "Freaky Friday" in which she played alongside Lindsay Lohan (36).

"I've already texted my friends at Disney," she said Monday (local time) on ABC talk show The View. In a new film, she would like to be "the grandma who changes places".

In the 2003 Disney comedy, Curtis played psychotherapist Tess Coleman, who regularly fights with her teenage daughter, Anna (Lohan). After eating magical fortune cookies, the two swap bodies and have to deal with each other's everyday lives. In a new film, Lohan's character could now have children of his own, Curtis said. She also gave ideas for another body swap between the two characters: "I would like to see Lindsay as a hot grandma and I would like to see how I deal with small children today. I want to be a helicopter mother in today's world, as an old lady ."

Freaky Friday is an adaptation of the 1972 novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers. Curtis was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance. From this Thursday, Curtis can be seen in the film "Halloween Ends" in German cinemas.
