"I didn't differentiate between Russia and Ukraine, I didn't care if my father was born in Ukraine and my mother in Russia. For me it was a Russian-speaking cosmos." Russia started the war against neighboring Ukraine on February 24 last year.

The actor said that his relatives are still in the hard-fought city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. "They are still alive - in fear and terror. And they tell us how the house next door was hit and how they pray that their house is not hit by rockets."
