"It's a different kind of gig than I usually do," said superstar Robbie Williams on Tuesday evening as he stood under the magenta spotlights in Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie Main Hall. He didn't have to mention it separately, because even before the first note, everyone involved knew that this was going to be an unusual event. If only because he shares the stage with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt orchestra (and his longtime songwriting partner Guy Chambers on the piano).
