From the volume 4 of the series, Flight of the storks, published in 1964 éditions Dargaud and pre-published in 1962 in the journal Pilot, the board is estimated to be between 60 000 and 100 000 euros. And in the second place, Ada and Sylvie Uderzo have selected a board of the famous hero Oumpah-Pah, created by Goscinny and Uderzo, whose first appearance was on April 2, 1958 in The Journal of Tintin. This ink on paper is from the album The Skin-Red, volume 1 of the series published in 1961 by éditions du Lombard (estimated 40 000-60 000€). Franquin, Hergé and Moebius to the honour in June
June 27, the ninth art will be on the front of the stage of the auction. More than 200 lots will honor the classic era and modern of the comic strip. On the side of the flagship artists, André Franquin will be particularly represented with a selection of rare original plates, as The Canoe, an ink made for the cover of the recueil Spirou issue # 49, published in 1954. The sale will also offer another sure value of the comic franco-belgian Hergé, and a drawing of the Sceptre of Ottokar, the eighth album of the adventures of Tintin. Done for the cover of the newspaper Le Petit Vingtième, published in 1938, it tells the story of Tintin on his arrival to Prague, accompanied by his sidekick hairy Milou, stumbling to the exit of the plane by catching up and narrowly the beard of the shadowy Doctor Halambique (estimate 250 000-350 000€). As to the new wave, more than ever, popular one on the market of the second hand, Artcurial will offer a beautiful acrylic and pastel blue tones of Enki Bilal baptized Ulysses in Love, and was published in 2012 (estimated 20 000-25 000 euros) as well as an acrylic on cardboard, 1998, executed by Moebius (estimated to 5,000-7,000 euros).
