A Danish team must take up the fight against other major sejlsportsnationer in catamaran regatta SailGP.

When the second season of the regatta SailGP begins in February, it will be with a Danish team in the field.

on Wednesday, SailGP published, that the danes should be in the competition in the 2020 season. Here, the Danish F50-catamaran big against crews from six other countries.

Nicolai Sehested, who previously has been the helmsman at the Volvo Ocean Race, must be the helmsman on the Danish boat. The former OLYMPIC silver in finnjolle Jonas Hoegh-Christensen must be the team manager.

SailGP was held for the first time in 2019. Here ended the Australia with to win ahead of Japan, China, Britain, France and the UNITED states. The winner of the SailGP scores a million dollar.

The Danish boat was recently featured in the New Zealand of the site-testing team from the league. F50-katamaranerne can shoot a speed of over 50 knots.

2020-the season opens in Sydney 28. and 29. February. The entire program for the upcoming season is not presented yet, but it is clear that among other things, to be sailed out of San Francisco and New York.

Rockwool has entered into a major sponsorship for the Danish team. Sponsor deal out applies in the first instance for three years.
