Andreas Bjelland came home to Denmark in the summer of 2018, and enhanced FC Copenhagen's defence almost immediately.
But in this season, the 31-year-old stops not seen much playing time. Injuries continued to keep him out of action, and in this season it's only been to seven superligakampe.
"It annoys me. Midtstopper and 31 years old – it might have been his best age," says Stale Solbakken on Andreas Bjellands season in a Eurosport feature in the run-up to the FCK's match against Hobro on Sunday.
But it is not the only, Stale Solbakken is unhappy with about Andreas Bjellands history with injuries.
FCK-stopper will get treatment of the team's lægestab, but at the same time, he is associated with the ProTreatment, where several players have come through time.
Stale Solbakken tells to Eurosport that it is usually a 'a no go' to receive another treatment than the club provides, but he agreed to it in the Bjellands case, as Bjelland in recent years has played a part and had good experiences with supplementing with ProTreatments treatment.
But when he's not playing, watching it is no longer good. the See the full feature at the top of the article.
"In the last season it worked well, you may say. He proved that he was available more or less all the time. And then we can say with facit in hand, in years, that it has been a failure," said Stale Solbakken, who calls the treatment 'unnecessary':
"We have employed a whole department of specialists, so in the starting I think yes, as a manager, that it is totally unnecessary. I rely 100 percent on the sundshedssektor, I have, and the team has already captured half of them. It, there is probably a reason to?"
Andreas Bjelland states that he is not visiting ProTreatment because he is dissatisfied with the treatment in FC Copenhagen lægestab.
"No, not at all. It is very with things like trust and with people who know a good. That's how it is in this game. I've had the same therapist for eight years, and then build a tape. To know each other, and you know what kind of training and treatment that is good for you."
