Simone Böhme has chosen a håndboldkarriere in Hungary. Far away from home.

And it can be hard not to see his family more than a few times a year.

"I miss my family every day. I can also feel when it is the case that there is no birthday or anything else with the family, then it may well hurt a little from time to time not to be at home. In return you get many good experiences, and it also means something. But I have good contact with my family," says Simone Böhme to the B. T. Sport.

in Addition to the many great experiences enjoying Böhme life in her Hungarian club, Siófok KC:

"There are many ways, it is not comparable with Denmark. Generally the mentality and the culture different. It must just get used to. Now that I have accustomed myself to it, so I think actually that I will have difficulty in the Danish culture. I'm really happy to be there."

Simone Böhme was the wreckage for the european championship finals last year, but now she is to the WORLD cup finals in year:

"I do not think that I have done so much differently in order to come up with in years. If one plays well and performs, then it is the best way to prove that you need to a Betxlarge VM. So I'm of course really happy and thankful that I need it. I train hard, and we as a team play well in Hungary."

"To play on the national team is always a big honor. That I can get to the finals and represent my country, it means a lot to me," said the Danish winger.

Simone Böhme know that the Danish people have high expectations for the team. The national team also has expectations for himself, but the semi-final or the final is not where they are looking towards the first:

"I would really like to have achievements, and I feel that it is now, it happens. I don't know if we feel any pressure as such. That is how it is as an athlete. Of course, it is great that people have expectations, and we have certainly also to ourselves."

"Personally and in general for all, so we would like to win, and we want to win everything. But the OLYMPICS-qualification is really important, so the first goal is top seven," says Simone Böhme.
