Uruguay's next president, called Luis Lacalle Pou after a close presidential election.

A recount appears to have settled Sunday's presidential elections in Uruguay in south America. The difference between the conservative candidate, Luis Lacalle Pou, and the socialist Daniel Martinez was so small that a recount was underway.
