The Danish champion Michael Valgren being the father of January.

the Dane has a teaset for the news on his Instagram, where he on Friday wrote: "Ready for the big news?" which immediately put an end to speculation at the time.

NTT Pro Cycling rider revealed the happy news in the podcast forhjulslir, where he very casually just gets thrown into that is a little new on the way.

"I am going to Denmark in late november, and then I'm there in 14 days, and then I'm at training camp, and so I am in Denmark again, for the new year, and so there is probably a new training camp, and so, if all goes well, I will be father again in the start of January," says Michael Valgren in the interview made earlier in the year.

It also means that Valgren is delaying the start of the season, who else should be starting in the Tour Down Under, but the dane's wife, Sissel, vetoed, he says.

The good news may not come as a big surprise, as Valgren previously hintet that there might be a baby shower on the way.

Michael Valgren going to be the father, however, was not the only bid on what his 'big news' could be.
