The worldwide streaming service Netflix has come under quite severe pressure in Brazil, after the service has put a film up with a somewhat unconventional plot.

In the film insinueres it is strongly advised that Jesus Christ is a homosexual.

the Film is a form of comedy in which Jesus Christ shall home to his parents, Joseph and Maria, in connection with its 30th birthday.

Here, Jesus has brought along a friend by the name of Orlando, and it is between the lines that Jesus and the Orlando is more than good friends.

Religious groups have called the film blasphemous, vulgar and disrespectful.

under 14 days has 1.75 million brazilians signed a petition to get the film removed from Netflix.

Even the brazilian president's son, who also is a member of parliament, Eduardo Bolsonaro, has commented on the film on his Twitter profile:

'We support freedom of expression, but is it really worth it to attack the religion, as 86 percent of the population believe in?'

the Film is still to find on Netflix, and there are also several votes, which takes its existence in the defense.

the Channel Porta dos Fundos, who has produced the film, has also spoken out in the case.

They call the criticism ’tragic’, and stresses that freedom of expression is absolutely fundamental in a democratic society.
