"He said 'I can accept it if you come home with something on your neck'."
Kathrine Heindahl laughs when she tells about some of the words, she got on the road by his girlfriend before the trip went to Japan.
For her WORLD cup-excising means, namely, that she was not at home on his 30th birthday last week.
Also last year she was away with the national team, when he could celebrate the year, and as long as there are finals, on Kathrine Heindahls program, it becomes a challenge to be with.
"He is crazily happy birthday and gifts and such, something that is perhaps not quite 30 yet," laughs the 27-year-old midfielder, and continues:
"I chose to keep a surprisefest, before I took off to be with to celebrate him, when he was 30. Otherwise I have put my trust in family and friends and said they must celebrate him well. So, we must hope, I'm home to his 40-years in the spot," she says with a smile and tells that the party went well and that he had not smelled the fuse.
as long As she is a handball player, it is the sport that controls the calendar.
It also means that there must sacrifice some things, such as birthdays and other events with the family. Something she has become accustomed to from an early age.
"so I put also the even bigger the price tag on the things I can participate in, and are good to be there, when it is possible," says Kathrine Heindahl, that also adds to håndbolden provides much.
"I get so many experiences given, so in the end, I feel like I have enough, I will be enriched with more experiences, than if I did not play handball at this level. Then I must be good to be there when I'm at home and so enjoy it and really appreciate the day, you can get to it all," says national player.
