Hungary breaks european UNION rules, with criticism of Kofod and Danish media

Jeppe Kofod user according to the Hungarian government the Danish media as evidence, and they are "paid for by George Soros".

Quite unusual - and illegal - can Tuesday following a hearing in the circle of EU-countries on the democratic values and the rule of law in Hungary.

A spokesman for the Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orbán, livedækker the meeting via Twitter. He directs attacks against virtually all countries - also Denmark.

- Now, we hear from Denmark. They are also "worried", reiterates the statistics and the index, which comes from their "friendly" Soros-paid presseorganisationer, which sets out the rankings, writes Zoltan Kovacs with reference to George Soros.

the Hungarian Soros is one of the world's richest, and Orban sees him today as the Hungarian government's worst enemy.

Kovacs has shared a photo from the meeting, where one sees the minister of foreign affairs Jeppe Kofod (S), and the Danish ambassador to the EU, mr Jonas Bering Liisberg.

the foreign Minister has the answer Zoltan Kovacs with a link to the organization Reporters without Borders ranking of press freedom in the countries of the world. Denmark is number 5. Hungary is number 87.

Dear Zoltan, maybe you can answer me as to why Hungary was number 44 in 2011 and is now only 87 in 2019, writes Kofod.

Kovacs livedækning from the meeting is in violation of rule 6, paragraph. 1, which deals with secrecy. It confirms the EU council of ministers to Ritzau, after the legal department has assessed the case.

the Case was also brought up during the meeting of the Finnish presidency. Hungary needs to come up with an explanation. In theory, there could start the infringement procedure, but it is unlikely.

Tuesday's hearing is part of a longer process about the problems with the rule of law and democratic values of the EU, in Hungary, after a so-called article 7 procedure was initiated against the country in 2018.

A similar process is running against Poland. It is the first of the article 7 procedures to date, and they can cost a member state of the franchise.

But it is quite unlikely that it will happen, since it requires the unanimous agreement of the other.

Kovacs mentions a number of contributions from the foreign and european affairs ministers meeting in Brussels on Tuesday. It is quite extraordinary, and ministers and diplomats usually refers never from the meetings when they take place in a closed session.

Zoltan Kovacs, who is frontsoldat for Orban in the dispute about democratic values, comparing the EU-hearing, with a concert of the fictitious "Soros orchestra" - again with reference to rigmanden.

Soros has, among other things, funded a university, which has been closed by the Orban government.

The German minister for european affairs, Michael Roth, corresponds Kovacs:

- Dear state secretary Zoltan Kovacs. I'm not a musician, unfortunately not. I'm just an ordinary politician, as recorded by european values, writes Michael Roth on Twitter.
