The former Grand Slam winner Francesca Schiavone has won the fight against cancer.

Now Schiavone so made it public that she recently fought a hard battle against cancer.

"Hello, everybody, after 7-8 months of silence from the social media and the world, I would like to share what has happened with me. I was diagnosed with cancer," writes Francesca Schiavone in her postings on Instagram.
