"It's costing us more to open than to remain closed, because, for ten visitors, five members of the team must be present ", explains Catherine Grenier. "But we are convinced that a museum has a role in the company, especially during such a crisis : recreate the link, give access to the beauty, it is essential. "And what a joy, it is true, that walking the floors of this art deco building is sublime !

As the workshop of Alberto Giacometti, reconstituted to the same, as the few works on display, the characters slender and fragile, are moving to observe. All, in this visit, post-déconfinement, a taste of honey... An exhibition was started three weeks before the sudden closure, "In search of the works that "disappeared", quest quite fascinating for some fifty sculptures known of the artist, but of which one has lost track. Here, therefore, these works are ghostly evoked through small sketch books of the artist and photos of his workshop, and for three of them actually reconstructed according to designs by contemporary artists. A sort of renaissance. The theme could not be a better fit, really, with this re-opening...
