Durek Verretts new book 'Sjamanens reise' is not even in the top 100 best-selling books in Norway, and only sold a few hundred copies, writes the Norwegian newspaper VG.

Princess Märtha Louise's boyfriend may not otherwise complain of a lack of publicity.

The american shaman created in the degree headlines when he in the spring was presented as the princess's new boyfriend.

The Norwegian publisher, Jan Mesicek, reading, however the sales figures with the peace of mind.

"It (the book, ed.) have got a rough start, and there's probably not many books that have been so massive criticism as this. I'm not surprised that people are reluctant to buy it in the bookshop, but we will see, the book must stand on its own feet," he says, and adds, that the fierce criticism of the book may also have harmed the sales:

"It is said that all press is good press, but with so much negative publicity, as Dureks book has received, then it is probably a truth with modifications."

"It is a spiritual book, which is going to take time. Such books tend to grow over time. They must be read and understood, and it is spirituality. Not everyone understands everything the same. The book has been for sale for almost two weeks. There is a long way to 1000 books sold in Norway," he says to VG.
