On Monday, July 27, begins in the middle of the summer and for a week or more, the second review of the law of bioethics by the national Assembly after its passage in the Senate. And this in a country that, like the rabbit caught in the headlights, only has eyes for the Covid-19, to the detriment of the monitoring of the ethical debates that may seem anecdotal in the present context. Certainly, the scale of the crises in health and economic makes it understandable this lack of interest ; the subject deserves, however, that we stop having regard to its implications for human and societal long-term.
