The Grammy-nominated South Korean boyband BTS will be joining President Joe Biden next Wednesday to discuss "Asian inclusion, representation" as well as hate crimes and discrimination against Asians.

Biden visited South Korea last week, an American ally. The White House will host the musical group next Tuesday.

Biden has made it clear that he is committed to fighting anti-Asian hate crime. The COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act was signed into law by the Democratic president last year.

Biden and BTS (also known as the Bangtan Boys) will also discuss diversity and K-pop's role as youth ambassadors.

After releasing "Dynamite", the band received its first Grammy nomination. It was released as a gift for coronavirus-infected fans.
