ACM Awards show returns to Nashville Places in April

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Academy of Country Music Awards is coming back to Nashville for another time to maintain its awards show in three distinct venues.

The ACM and dick clark productions declared on Tuesday the series will return on April 18 and will broadcast on CBS in the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium and the Bluebird Cafe. The awards show, which will be generally held in Las Vegas in April, utilized exactly the exact same Nashville places once the coronavirus pandemic postponed their series to last September.

The series was held in Nashville for the first time a year ago with no live audience. Carrie Underwood and Thomas Rhett tied to the show's top prize, entertainer of the year, a first-ever tie, along with Taylor Swift returned to this series after seven years to execute a song from her album"Folklore."

Nominations and other details for the awards show haven't yet been declared.
