Copenhagen Police have charged the 27-year-old James Schmidt for three killings committed in the area of Østerbro in Copenhagen.

It informs the former Robinson winner Malene Hasselblad, who is the daughter to one of the women, as James Schmidt is alleged to have slain.

On her private Facebook she writes:

'This here may sound strange, but it is the best news I have heard in a long time. I have just been called up by my contact in the department for personfarlig crime. 'I'm not for a second doubt that he has at least killed my mother and the other two to death, so of course he must be convicted for all three. May justice be done.'

Copenhagen Police confirm on Twitter that they have indicted the man for the three killings. Here they write:

'We have raised charges against a 27-year-old man for three killings committed in February and march 2019 in the us. The trial starts on 3. march 2020.'
