Stock exchange in Frankfurt: shares Frankfurt: Dax with Adidas on the descent

At the end of what has been a good week so far, the Dax has lost a lot of feathers again. Also burdened by a renewed profit warning from Adidas, the leading German index extended its losses, around noon it lost 1.59 percent to 12,564.92 points. His weekly plus, which was almost four percent on Tuesday, melts to one percent. The MDax fell by 2.06 percent on Friday to 22,792.49 points. The EuroStoxx fell by 1.7 percent and the US stock markets were also showing signs of a weak opening.

The Adidas share in particular shaped the negative image in the Dax due to annual forecasts being cut again. Problems in China, sluggish demand in many countries and rising costs were blamed for this. The papers fell by almost ten percent to a new low since 2016. The Puma shares were also recorded at a significant discount of 6.5 percent.

The only ray of hope in the Dax were the SAP shares, which posted a slight plus of 0.3 percent after being upgraded to "overweight" by the US bank JPMorgan.

The MDax remained without a winner. The titles of Kion and Scout24 showed weakness there, slipping by 4.8 and 3.2 percent as a result of negative analyst assessments.

GFT Technologies from the SDAX were the big winners in the Dax family, their share price jump from the previous day continued with a further increase of eight percent. Reference was made here to a chart-technically brightened perspective.

At least the shares of PNE Wind held up in the SDax with a plus of half a percent. The fact that the main shareholder, Photon Management, controlled by Morgan Stanley, intends to hold preliminary talks with potential buyers caused some takeover fantasy.
