Stock exchange in Frankfurt: Dax remains on course for recovery

The German stock market regained part of the profits it had lost the day before in early trading in the middle of the week. The Dax rose by 0.3 percent to 12,804 points in the first few minutes of trading on Wednesday morning. The MDax of medium-sized German companies gained 0.5 percent to 23,357 points. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 went up 0.2 percent.

"The stock markets are going through a stormy autumn," says LBBW. Most recently, however, the market shook off the high level of uncertainty caused by US inflation data in the middle of the month. This robust condition speaks for a conciliatory end to the year.
