The German stock market started trading on Tuesday with moderate gains. In the first few minutes of trading, the Dax was up 0.33 percent at 15,841.10 points and initially remained below the 16,000 point mark. The season of quarterly reports is gradually gaining momentum, and investors are likely to remain cautious when it comes to the figures from large corporations in the USA and Europe. In China, good economic data was also unable to give the stock exchanges a stronger upward impulse.
The MDax of medium-sized stock market stocks rose by 0.51 percent to 27,979.31 points on Tuesday morning. The leading eurozone index, the EuroStoxx 50, rose by 0.2 percent.
