After the lively start to October, the Dax impressively continued its recent upward trend on Tuesday. Around noon, the leading German index rose by 2.62 percent to 12,529.52 points. The MDax for medium-sized companies rose by 2.44 percent to 23,223.39 points.
In the previous week, the Dax had fallen to 11,862 points, its lowest level since November 2020. At an oversold level, many stockbrokers had recently pointed to an imminent stabilization.
