Halftime for property tax: Owners can submit their tax returns from July 1st until October 31st. For many, the tax reform is the most annoying amendment of recent years. Critics call it a "bureaucratic monster" because 36 million properties in Germany have to be revalued. The fact that it is calculated differently depending on the federal state complicates the whole thing.
