The two sporty extras of all-wheel drive and power hybrid were already expected from the Opel Astra GSe, but the compact class model has to make do as a plug-in hybrid with front-wheel drive and 225 hp. The Opel Grandland GSe gets a slightly different exterior and the GSe signet as a result of the model upgrade - GSe standing for "Grand Sport electric" - but its performance data is unchanged compared to before.
Although the performance has not been given a second look by the GSe logo, Opel fans can look forward to a modified suspension and steering setup. Equipped with McPherson struts on the front axle and a multi-link rear axle, stiffer springs and dampers with electronic control are used, which can flexibly adapt to the situation. Sports seats, 19-inch aluminum rims, Alcantara equipment and, if desired, a black bonnet like the former GSE models ensure a sporty feeling. In terms of price, it should start at around 55,000 euros.
