Labor market: New power relations: How companies have to apply to employees today

700 people every year. Christjan Knudsen has to get them. Doctors, IT specialists, digitization specialists, but also laboratory technicians, mechatronics technicians and cooks. The pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim needs them all - and it is the responsibility of the labor director that they are found. "The much-cited battle for talent is a reality," says the manager, "we want to win it."

Knudsen is therefore positioning the traditional employer as the "Employer of Choice", as it is now called in technical jargon. He has campaigns for social media such as Instagram designed and answers to the questions of young professionals: Why should I work for you and not somewhere else? Do I find fulfillment in my job? How sustainable are you?
