Oops. This Wednesday, August 12, the PSG (Paris Saint Germain) is celebrating its 50 years of existence. For the occasion, the parisian club – who has, over the years, recruited a good number of size – has paid tribute to the best players of his story via a montage. Grand absent from this visual ? Edinson Cavani, as emphasized by RMC Sport.
We can see there, to the place, fifteen players emblematic having defended the colours of the club, including Ronaldinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar or even Thiago Silva. And yet, Edinson Cavani will have marked the history of the club founded in 1970 by becoming the top scorer in all generations of players together. In fact, the sporting of uruguay achieved the feat of scoring 200 goals in 301 games played during his seven years at the club.
" What a team ungrateful ! "
On social networks, users who are many to appreciate the player wonder : "What team ungrateful ! How not to include in this image your best goalscorer in the history of the club ? There is a reason the PSG has always been and always will be a team of second level ", writes a user anglophone, visibly pissed off. "Where is Cavani ? You don't mention the player who has scored the most goals of your story ? " marvelled another, while a third adds in the comments of a GIF of one of the great goals of Cavani. The club has not (yet) given the reasons for this absence very noticeable.
