The number of employees on partial unemployment continues to fall. Approximately 4.5 million employees would have received in June, around a quarter of private employees, according to an estimate of the Dares, the statistics service of the ministry of Labour. They were $ 7.9 million in this situation in may, to 8.8 million in April, and 7.2 million in march, at the beginning of the epidemic Covid-19 in France. Among them, around 700,000 have been in part-time workers in June for child care or because of situations of vulnerability.
In July, 20, 319 000 compensation claims for the month of June have been filed by 287 000 companies, about 1.9 million employees. 2.4 billion euros paid in the framework of partial unemployment
